Cycle in Sync: Living in Harmony with the seasons of Your Menstrual Cycle

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN ANGRY FOR NOT HAVING ENOUGH ENERGY TO EXERCISE, GO OUT, SOCIALIZE, DO WHAT YOU HAD PLANNED, HAVE TO CANCEL AN APPOINTMENT…? ARE YOU TIRED OF BEING TIRED, LACKING SLEEP, WANTING TO STAY AT HOME IN YOUR COCOON… IT’S NORMAL. JUST LIKE NATURE, WE ARE CYCLIC, OUR BODY, OUR ENERGY, OUR EMOTIONS CHANGE ACCORDING TO OUR CYCLE. IT’S THE FEMININE RHYTHM.

Your energy fluctuates throughout the month

You constantly change throughout the year but also during the month. These are your indoor and outdoor seasons, and listening to them can be your best gift to show intentions, embark on a new project or a new lifestyle, take your health and well-being in hand while restoring your health and vitality.

As women, we are not only influenced by the seasons of nature (our external environment), but also by our own internal rhythms. Like the moon, we change, evolve. These phases that we go through each month can be considered as seasons. The season during which we have our moons or periods, for example, is associated with winter – a period of slowdown, feeding, rest and introspection – of slowing down.

 

Your inner female cycle

Winter is a very important part of nature’s cycle. She needs this rest to bloom again in the spring. It is important to understand that it is the same for the women’s cycle. Without rest during this period phase, we do not allow our body to rest for the next phase, that of spring and the pre-ovulatory phase. The following phases will be impacted because we have created an imbalance in our natural rhythm. It is then that hormonal imbalances are created that the intensity of pain can appear or increase.

Without the nascent energy of spring or pre-ovulatory phase with the increase in estrogen, which will allow us to have more clarity, coordination, memory and creativity, the ability to act, create and bring ideas to life during the summer (at ovulation – ovulatory phase) would not be possible.

Without the fall of our hormones (estrogen, progesterone and testosterone) immediately after ovulation and therefore in the autumn season (premenstrual phase), we could never achieve and reap the fruits of our work (you see the parallel with the harvest in autumn), as we prepare to do a full cycle and rest in winter (menstrual phase or menstrual periods).

This cycle is repeated continuously, again and again.

Your cycle at menopause

“What happens if I don’t have a period or if I’m in natural or artificial menopause?”

Be assured to still feel the influence of these flows and phases. It’s your feminine super power. You can continue to feel the effects of each phase by observing your energy level, your mood, the activities you want to do, your creative power, how you want to dress or socialize…

And if you do not clearly perceive these changes, you will be able to settle on the natural cycle of the moon whose cycle duration is identical to the woman’s cycle.

The relationship between the cycle of nature and woman

Our phases are divided into yang (spring / summer) and yin (autumn / winter) energies. Depending on where you live, your inner and outer energies (environment) can complement or contrast each other…

The pre-menstrual phase just before menstruation and then especially the menstrual phase as well as in late autumn and winter, call you to snuggle up under a duvet, stay calm, read a book, drink a good tea and invite you to introspection and rest (hibernation).

In spring and summer as well as in your ovulatory phase, you may feel the need to be active and sociable again, to go out, to move. You can feel strong, confident and desirable, ready to embrace everything that life brings. You feel dynamic and your energy is such that you feel like you can do everything or float in the air. You can feel like a wonderwoman.

If you are in your pre-ovulatory or ovulatory (yang) phase but in an autumn or winter outdoor season, your inner cycle and that of nature complement each other, it is yin and yang. You may feel full of energy but with the desire to organize small dinners with friends in cozy places.

The more aware you are of the rhythms of your cycle, the more you will be able to align and meet your changing needs throughout your cycle by being perfectly aligned with your female rhythm. You will be able to identify trends in your energy level, your activities, your desires and your sensations. You will be able to unlock and exploit your intuitive and creative potential to guide you at any time.

By aligning your interior and exterior seasons, you align yourself with the unique magic and energy of each phase. You discover, observe, feel and develop an intuition so deep that you may be able to instinctively predict what your energy will be throughout the month. You welcome each phase of your cycle more serenely, including that of the pre-menstrual and menstrual phases.
