Yoga & Endometriosis: Beyond Menstrual Poses
Practice and Teaching for Students Living with Endometriosis
Join me to explore what endometriosis truly means in yoga practice, why “yoga for menstrual pain” isn’t enough, and the key principles I’ve learned and refined over a decade of teaching (and practicing myself) to better support students with endometriosis and adenomyosis.
Wednesday, March 4, 2026 — 10:00 AM ET · 15:00 UK · 16:00 CET · 19:00 GST
For yoga teachers and yoga therapists, health and wellness practitioners focused on endometriosis and adenomyosis.
By registering, you will be added to my mailing list and will receive monthly inspirations, resources, news about yoga, yoga therapy, and women’s health and well-being to enrich your practice and teaching. You are free to unsubscribe at any time.
Topics Covered
During this session, you will:
- Understand endometriosis within the context of yoga practice.
- Explore how endometriosis can influence the relationship to practice (for oneself and for students), and identify the needs of women living with endometriosis, whether they are new to yoga or experienced practitioners.
- Experience a guided posture that is safe, supportive, and appropriate for pain-sensitive contexts, with practical adaptations.
- Clarify how yoga integrates into the broader endometriosis journey, including the distinction between yoga and yoga therapy and the scope of the teacher’s role.
- Become familiar with the EndoYoga approach, based on the understanding that each person’s experience of endometriosis is unique.
- How to choose and offer practices grounded in modern physiology and yogic and Ayurvedic frameworks, moving beyond standardized or “one-size-fits-all” protocols.
Throughout the session, you will have the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas, and share experiences.
This session is for:
- Yoga teachers (certified, in training, or aspiring) who wish to develop skills for working with women living with endometriosis in group classes, workshops, or individual sessions.
- Wellness and health practitioners (physiotherapists…) who want to integrate yoga-based practices into their professional work.

About
Hey! I am Aurélie Maire
A yoga student, teacher, yoga therapist, and teacher trainer, as well as a specialized book author in endometriosis, with a scientific background in biochemistry and human nutrition.
It was through adapting my yoga practice, initiated in 2008, integrating Ayurveda and naturopathy, and drawing on my scientific background, that I successfully managed “my” endometriosis in 2013.
Since then, I’ve guided hundreds of students and trained yoga teachers and healthcare professionals in tailoring and personalizing yoga therapy practices to address the specific needs of students dealing with endometriosis.
For the past decade, I’ve been fully committed to supporting those with endometriosis by bridging modern scientific knowledge with adapted traditional practices of yoga, Ayurveda, and naturopathy.
Today, I offer specialized teacher training for yoga teachers and healthcare professionals. I also lead workshops, conferences, and am the author of the books “My Solution Yoga for the Female Cycle” and “Better Living with Endometriosis Naturally.”
I regularly contribute to press interviews and podcast episodes and participate in international networks composed of multidisciplinary professionals, where I shed light on the interconnection between yoga practice, women’s holistic health, and scientific knowledge.
My teachings offer a deep understanding not only of the scientific, yogic, and Ayurvedic perspective but also of oneself. This insight expands perspectives on one’s individual path to women’s health and well-being.
